Resumen

El enfoque por competencias y el de capital humano muestran una notoria inclinación al individualismo y al economicismo, lo cual empobrece su comprensión de la conducta social humana y de sus respectivos contextos socio-institucionales. Asimismo, el cognitivismo, en los estudios del aprendizaje humano, también presenta un sesgo individualista, al tiempo que el constructivismo redunda en una proliferación de definiciones conceptuales, interpretaciones y confusión asociada. El artículo propone, a partir del enfoque sociocultural, retomar y elaborar el concepto “Bildung”, de tal forma de abordar de mejor manera determinados desafíos de la educación y del desarrollo humano. Para tales efectos, se hace referencia a desarrollos en curso de la teoría social de Hegel, especialmente del concepto “Vida Ética “.

Sociólogo y Master en Ciencias Sociales por la Universidad Helsinki (Finlandia), Licenciado en Ciencia Política y Administración (España) y Doctor en Sociología por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid con su Tesis "DE DICTADURA A DEMOCRACIA. EL MODELO DE DESARROLLO EN CHILE". Su área de especialidad es la Sociología del Trabajo y de las Organizaciones. Actualmente imparte las asignaturas de Sociología del Trabajo y Teoría Sociológica.
